Meet Michele

Michele, a mother of four and a former educator, has called Alaska home for nearly 40 years. She represents clients from all over the state and in every judicial district, including the Alaska Court of Appeals and the Alaska Supreme Court.  Michele devotes her practice to personal injury and wrongful death cases, focusing on serious motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, airplane crashes, maritime accidents, sexual abuse, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Clients come to Michele with traumatic brain injuries, internal injuries, broken bones, disfigurement or other serious injuries.  Some come to her after having lost a loved one in a serious accident.  In every case, Michele’s goal is to obtain the maximum compensation to which her client is entitled.  She takes a no-nonsense, direct approach, standing up to bullying insurance companies and big business. She wants to see the responsible party held accountable for its negligent and wrongful conduct. She is committed to seeing justice served.

Michele has been recognized by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys as a Top 10 Attorney and the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer. She received her law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law where she was on the dean’s list and an active participant in the school’s clinical program. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  Prior to attending law school Michele was a certified teacher in Oregon and Alaska.

Michele is a member of the Alaska Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Alaska Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association and the Oregon Bar Association (inactive).
